This was a part of the email received informing of a sting operation. Hence, I quote:

“This was one sting that did not smell right on Day One. A week after, it stinks. The police on Thursday arrested a woman, who played a critical role in the sting on a government schoolteacher, charging her with cheating.
The accused, Rashmi Singh, had posed as a schoolgirl alleging that teacher Uma Khurana pushed her and other girls into prostitution. All this was said, recorded on film and telecast by Live India, a television news channel.
That was on August 30. Public outrage followed. The schoolteacher was attacked by a mob, sacked by the education department and arrested by the police. The city was shocked. And the news channel gloated.”

Now we will see another report and I quote:
“Madeleine McCann: Gran hits out over daughter Kate
Sep 8 2007 by Caroline Innes, Liverpool Daily Post
An astonishing day in the search for Madeleine McCann saw her Liverpool-born mother and her husband accused of killing. Caroline Innes reports
‘KATE McCANN’S mother last night told the Daily Post her daughter believed she was being framed by Portuguese police over the disappearance of Madeleine.
Susan Healy, of Mossley Hill, broke down as she pledged her daughter’s innocence and said: “Kate would never have harmed her beloved Madeleine.”
It came on the day Portuguese detectives accused Kate McCann of killing her three-year-old daughter, albeit accidentally and, it is claimed, offered her a “deal” if she confessed.”

Both these news are equally shocking and astonishing.
Shocking for this reason that in both these cases woman are involved and at the same time the allegation involves one woman against the other.

Whatever may be the outcome of these cases, which I hope to surely follow-up and keep my self-informed but then my mind set thinking on a different line of thought.
Suddenly it was an awakening thought, that, are women the worst enemies of women. I do not know but my mind tells me that I have indeed to consider the following points before arriving at a conclusion. It is thus:

1) The so-called first villain in a Childs life is the stepmother of course not always, but most of the time the ego hassles starts at this point. It may be stepfather also but comparatively in the area of doing something bad, the stepmother has an upper hand it seems so.

2) One woman spoiling the married life of another married woman by being the “the other woman”

3) The mother in law cases are in thousands where we see woman making each other’s life unbearable, to the extend of going “nuts”.

4)Least I forget let me also include the office premises the ladies staff room the ladies train compartment, the canteen all these places I have been a witness to an unlimited gossip, bitching and egocentric bashes. Right from saris to perfumes and politics to movies woman are found to judge rate and estimate people.

5) Is all this necessary? Is all this true? Can we change our thinking?

We call ourselves a free species. There are high and mighty talks of “burning this and that “.
Have we burnt our mental shortcomings? And mind you some will say that even men do most of this , but remember even then they are said to be “behaving like a lady” “that sissy behavior” so woman are not spared here.
this is just a thought not my final opinion.
Be on guard.
